# Invite teammates and manage roles

> Bring your team into Aide from Settings > Teammates.

Bring your team into Aide from **Settings > Teammates**. The page lists each member's role, teams, availability and when they were last active, and the invitations still waiting.

## Roles

* **Owner**: everything, including billing and handing the workspace to someone else. One per workspace.
* **Admin**: everything except billing and ownership. Runs the helpdesk and Aide settings.
* **Agent**: works conversations. Reads settings, creates personal templates and views.

On the Free plan, Aide Helpdesk is free for up to 2 team members. Paid plans include unlimited team members.

## Invite people

1. Choose **Invite people**.
2. Enter up to 50 email addresses, separated by commas or spaces.
3. Choose a role and, optionally, the teams they join.
4. Send the invitations.

Each person gets an email invitation. They can join with a password or with **Continue with Google**.

From an invitation's menu you can **Resend invite**, **Copy invite link** to share it yourself (earlier links for that invite stop working), or **Revoke invite**.

## Change a role or teams

Open a teammate's menu and use **Edit role** or **Teams**.

## Remove a teammate

Choose **Remove from workspace** from the teammate's menu. They lose access straight away; their notes and replies stay on the conversations. Under **Their open conversations go to**, pick a teammate, or **Unassigned** to return them to their teams' queues.

## Transfer ownership

The owner can choose **Transfer ownership** and pick the new owner, for example when the founder hands support over to a head of customer experience.

## Signing in and passwords

Sign in with your email and password, or with **Continue with Google**. Forgot your password? Choose **Forgot password?** on the sign-in page and follow the link in the email to set a new one.
