# Create your workspace and finish onboarding

> Signing up creates a workspace for your company.

Signing up creates a workspace for your company. Everything in Aide (conversations, knowledge, settings, billing) belongs to a workspace, and teammates you invite join that workspace.

The Aide dashboard is at `my.aide.app`. Create an account there with your work email and a password, or click **Continue with Google**. You become the owner of the new workspace.

If a teammate already invited you, use the link in the invitation email instead, so you join their workspace rather than creating a second one. To join with Google, the Google account's email must match the email the invite was sent to.

## Other ways in

* **From the Shopify App Store:** open Aide in your Shopify admin and select **Get started**. Aide creates a workspace for your store and signs you in, with no separate sign-up or password. If your email already belongs to an Aide workspace, Aide offers to connect the store to it instead. See [Aide in your Shopify admin](/shopify/shopify-admin-app).
* **From the Gorgias App Store:** after you sign in, you land on Aide's Gorgias setup page, which takes you through connecting Gorgias and choosing where Aide's drafts appear.

## Onboarding

After signing up, a short setup asks four things:

1. **About you and your company**, including your company website. Aide imports your website into its knowledge so it can answer from it; untick **Learn from website** if you don't want that.
2. **What's your tech stack?** Pick the helpdesk and store you use.
3. **How will you use Aide?** Pick the features you want to start with, such as the chat or email AI Agent, or Copilot for your team.
4. **Choose your plan.** The Free plan needs no card. Paid plans start with a 7-day trial: the card is taken up front and charged on day 7 unless you cancel. If you signed up from Shopify, paid plans are billed through Shopify (see [Pay for Aide through Shopify](/billing/shopify-billing)).

Connecting Zendesk, Front or Gorgias needs the Pro plan or above. You can change plan later from Settings > Billing.

## After onboarding

Aide shows the next steps for what you chose as reminders at the top of the pages they belong to, for example connecting your store, importing your help center or deploying the AI Agent. Do them in any order.

Your workspace already has an Aide AI Agent, switched off until you deploy it; the sidebar shows **Deploy Aide AI Agent** until then. If you connect a helpdesk that already holds conversations, Aide writes the agent's style guide from your team's past replies; see [How Aide learns your team's writing style](/aide-ai-agent/agent-style-guide).
