# Automate on Aide conversations with Shopify Flow

> Shopify Flow can start a workflow when Aide hands a conversation to your team or when a conversation is resolved.

Shopify Flow can start a workflow when Aide hands a conversation to your team or when a conversation is resolved. Use Flow's own conditions and actions to tag the customer, alert a channel, add an order note or follow up after a resolution.

## The triggers

* **Aide conversation handed off to a person:** runs when Aide asks for a person to take over. It carries the handoff reason when Aide recorded one.
* **Aide conversation resolved:** runs each time a conversation is closed, including after it's reopened and closed again. It says who resolved it: `aide` when Aide resolved it on its own, `person` when someone on your team took part.

## What each trigger carries

* The conversation's Aide ID and a link that opens it in Aide.
* The Shopify customer ID, order ID and order name (such as #1001), when the conversation is linked to a verified customer or an order. They are empty otherwise, so add a condition when your workflow needs them.

No customer details or message text are sent to Flow: no email, no name, no chat content.

## Good to know

* Workflows start a few seconds after the change, without slowing down the chat.
* Test chats from the Aide dashboard never start a workflow.
* With several stores in one workspace, the trigger runs in the store the conversation's order or customer belongs to, or in every connected store when it has neither.
