On a product page
“Does this come in blue?” or “is it in stock in a medium?” gets an answer about the product on the page, without the shopper naming it. When the shopper has picked an option such as a colour or size, Aide knows which one, so stock and price answers are about that option. Aide answers from the product’s details in your catalogue and says so when they don’t cover the question. On a collection page
“Which of these is best for beginners?” gets an answer from the products in that collection. Aide reads up to six of them, picking those that best match the question, and can show them as product cards. In a bigger collection it says it looked at some of them and asks what the shopper is after. On a product page opened from a collection, “this” is still the product. Collection pages under a language or market path work the same way.The shopper’s cart
Aide sees the cart too, so “what’s in my cart?”, “did I add the right size?” or “what’s my total?” get a direct answer. Aide doesn’t change the cart; it tells the shopper how to. It doesn’t work out discounts, shipping or taxes. What your team sees
In the conversation’s details:- Currently viewing shows the product with the chosen option, its price and stock, or “Browsing collection” with the collection’s name, each with a link to the page. It follows the page the shopper’s latest message came from.
- Cart lists each item with its picture, option, quantity and price, the item count, the total and when it last changed. It updates within a couple of seconds as the shopper adds or removes items, while the conversation is open. It’s hidden while the cart is empty.
