Choose what Aide tells you about, and how, in Settings > Notifications. Conversation notifications are personal: each teammate picks their own. Unless a conversation is assigned to someone, everyone on its team is notified.

Conversation notifications

For each event, choose In app and Email separately. Email can be Off, On, or Outside hours only, which emails you only while your team’s business hours are closed, so you can step in from your phone. Notification emails say what happened, the conversation’s subject, the customer’s name and a link to the conversation; never the message itself. You get at most one email per conversation and event every 5 minutes, and none for events you caused yourself.

Sound and desktop alerts

In-app notifications chime. Enable desktop alerts from the bell to also get an alert while Aide is in the background. Turning a notification off in app silences it too.

Slack

Owners and admins can also post workspace alerts, such as handoffs and SLA warnings, to Slack channels. Personal notifications, such as mentions, never go to Slack. See Send Aide alerts to Slack to set it up.

Product emails

  • Weekly summary: what Aide handled last week, and where it needed a human.
  • Activity alerts: when an import finishes, a scenario starts failing, or an agent goes offline.
  • Setup tips: a short series on getting the most out of Aide. Stops on its own.
  • Event invitations: webinars and office hours with the Aide team.
  • Product news: new features and changes worth knowing about.

The notification bell

In-app notifications collect under the bell. Mark one as read, or mark all as read at once.
