Aide counts the Shopify orders that come from its chats, so you can see what the chat earns as well as what it resolves.

Where to find it

  • Analytics > AI Agent > Sales from Aide chats: orders and revenue for the date range, with the change against the previous period. The section appears once there is an order to show.
  • In a conversation: an order placed with the cart from that chat shows a “Bought after this chat” badge in the Orders section. It’s listed even when the shopper wasn’t matched to a store customer, for example a guest who checked out with another email.
  • In your Shopify admin: the Aide app’s home shows sales from Aide chats and sales after a chat for the last 30 days.

What counts

There are two kinds of order:
  • From Aide’s cart: the shopper added products using Aide’s product cards and checked out within 30 days of the chat. These are the Orders and Revenue numbers.
  • After a chat: the shopper chatted and then bought within 30 days, without using Aide’s cart. These show separately as “Orders after a chat”, with their revenue. They only include shoppers who accepted analytics cookies.
An order is only ever counted once, and an order from Aide’s cart always counts as that. Both kinds:
  • are counted on the day the order was placed, not the day of the chat,
  • use the order total as placed, and leave out cancelled orders,
  • are shown per currency, never converted,
  • follow the channel and topic filters of the chat they came from.

The Aide attribution pixel

Orders after a chat are found by a Shopify customer events pixel, listed as “Aide attribution” under Settings > Customer events in Shopify. It respects your store’s cookie banner: it only runs for shoppers who accepted analytics. It sends only the store, the order number and an anonymous chat visitor ID; no names, emails, cart contents or prices. The pixel is switched on when the store connects to Aide. Stores connected earlier must approve Aide’s customer events permissions in Shopify first.

Good to know

Aide doesn’t use “Bought after this chat” orders in its replies; it only discusses orders of a shopper it has verified.
