Make Aide Chat match your brand from Aide Chat > Appearance. The live preview beside the settings shows your changes as you make them.

Launcher

  • Position: bottom left or bottom right.
  • Launcher icon: speech bubble, question mark or message.
  • Accent colour: the launcher and the widget’s accent. Default is black.
  • Text beside the icon: optional text that widens the launcher into a pill, up to 20 characters, such as “Need help?”. It hides while the panel is open.
To show your store’s logo in the chat, upload it as a PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF file of up to 1 MB. It’s shown as the agent’s avatar.

Theme

Set the panel’s colours, and optionally your own colours for visitors whose page is in dark mode (Dark mode colours). You can also choose the font, the panel, card and button corners, and a Frosted background that blurs the page behind the panel.

Brand name and privacy policy

In Aide Chat > General:
  • Brand name is who the agent speaks for. It appears in the header, on proactive messages and in the line telling visitors they’re talking to an AI.
  • Privacy policy is linked from that line, which visitors see before their first message.

Powered by Aide

The “Powered by Aide” line shows under the message box. On the Starter plan and above you can switch it off so the widget carries your brand alone.

What visitors see in the widget

In Aide Chat > Spaces, choose what the widget offers: the Home screen (with Track an order, an order number box that needs a connected store), Messages (chat, Conversation history and Attachments) and Help (Help articles).

Text and language

Every piece of text in the widget can be reworded in Aide Chat > Language, and the widget comes in English, French and German. The lines saying the agent is an AI stay as Aide writes them. AI replies always follow the language the customer writes in. See Change the chat widget’s text and languages.
